Dr. Nancy Summers
The Power of music. The Love of sharing.
The Joy of creating.
These three items form the basis of our work together in West Michigan New Horizons Music Ensembles. As an adult-based organization, we meet weekly to rehearse music of many different styles, with attention to the ways in which we learn. We provide opportunities for beginning students of music and support a graduated system of levels for those who expect more challenging musical experiences.
As Music Director, it is my privilege to serve as head of this fine group of people, to interact with them, ask them to strive to improve their lives as individuals within an ensemble setting. If you are reading this statement, you are already interested in our program. Why are you waiting to join us? The time is now and the place is here.
