On Monday, March 19, Pam Smitter, principal trumpet with the West Michigan Symphony Orchestra, gave a Master Class to the various trumpet sections in WMNHME. Funded through our grant with the Michigan Council for Arts & Cultural Affairs, she spent an hour instructing after listening to the Symphonic Band rehearsal. The best endorsement: multiple requests to have her return!
